NEW SITE DESIGN UPDATE

Well, it's been 3 months since we started the conversion to our new layout and the response from our members has been gratifying. We have finished about 80% of the conversion of our gallery pages with only the videos remaining. It takes longer to do these pages because the videos themselves have to be converted to the new Flash format as we convert the gallery pages. The purpose of the design is more than cosmetic, it's designed to make the site easier to navigate and therefore easier for our members to find what they're looking for.

We have had some recurring comments that have helped us refine the site as we finish the conversion:

MENU BAR IS CONFUSING

    The menu bar you see above has been well received but some of our members have commented that
    it disappears when they go to some gallery pages (particularly the Amateur Boyz, Papis & Jocks, Jack|
    Off Videos, and Action Videos galleries). Based on this feedback we are re-designing these pages to
    include the same navigation bar you see throughout the site, making it easier to find your way
    around.

NEW LARGER VIDEO SCREEN SIZE

    The feedback to our new Flash video format has been very good. Our members like the fact that they
    do not have to install a separate player and that the videos play within the page on the site. But
    members with high speed connections have commented that they would like a larger screen size or
    be able to enlarge the existing screen size. We experimented with adding the enlargement option but
    found that the videos were too distorted when enlarged. Then we searched for new encoding
    products that would allow us to be able to offer videos that maintain the quality and offer a
    larger screen size. We found the perfect solution and will retroactively convert our streaming videos
    beginning next week. In particular, the 700K version will be enlarged from a screen width of 480
    pixels to 720 pixels (this is the full size of the video in its original format) with no loss of quality. The
    400K version will be enlarged from 320 pixels to 480 pixels. Like the 700K version, there will be no
    loss of quality.

LATINBOYZ @ VALLARTA FEVER

One of our goals with this new blog is to have a forum where we can share news about our models.

Many of our models also dance for Club Papi. Club Papi is the largest gay Latino club party in the U.S. They regularly do events in Los Angeles, San Diego and in the San Francisco bay area. They also do special events in Chicago, Miami, Houston and Dallas.

A year or so ago Club Papi ventured outside the U.S. for the first time with the opening of Club Papi Tijuana. These parties have gained a reputation for being crazy, sexy, and fun. The next event is December 29th.

LatinBoyz.Com Model Mondo

Recently Club Papi partnered with Puerto Vallarta's number one gay dance club "Mañana" to produce an outrageous week long party called Vallarta Fever. Thousands of hot men descended on Puerto Vallarta over the Thanksgiving weekend and had a great time at all the events. We hear they are already preparing for next year so make sure to mark your calendars.

LatinBoyz.Com's contingent at the event were Mondo and Cisco. Mondo sent us some pictures he took at the beach during the day of Cisco, papi dancers Leo and Daniel, and himself. NEW SITE DESIGN

You may have noticed two new things while you were navigating the site today.

We have added a new blog feature. The blog will feature news about the site and our
models. We hope you find it entertaining and informative.
NEW WEBSITE DESIGN

You may also have noticed that the design of some of our pages have changed.
During the next couple of weeks the entire site will be re-designed. The change will
not be radical, but is designed to update the site based on changes with the internet
in general .

This will be the third re-design of the site since our inception in 1998. The site is much
bigger than it was five years ago when the current format was introduced and it will
be a huge challenge but one we're up to.

The new design will use more of the space available on your monitor. Programmers generally
have to design to the lowest common denominator so that people with older equipment
are able to enjoy their websites. As a result, the available width of the viewable area has been
700 pixels wide (for monitors with 800 by 600 screen resolution). Today less than 5% of
internet users have that small of screens allowing us to use a larger width format and make
the presentation of our content even more visually interesting.

More web surfers have high speed connections like DSL and Cable than ever before. As a result we can introduce more interactive features, flash graphics and higher resolution videos. We will be introducing a new streaming video format with more options for download speeds.
For those of you that like to download your videos, we will still be offering the MPEG
option. The new video format will be introduced soon and we will have more information
in a couple of weeks.
